With karaoke becoming one of the greatest new trends in amusement, it brings with it some original language. For example if you are the Host, then you can dub yourself as a KJ, meaning karaoke jockey. If you are young to the business, and have just been given your starting contract it doesnt matter how resourceful you are, there will still be some jitters. Its different when you and a crowd of acquaintances got together for a night of fun and some jokes. Nevertheless, karaoke is serious business there is money involved here.

Technically this is your business and should be taken out in a business manner. First before you even leave home, make sure all of your karaoke equipment is functioning decently, and is clean and presentable. Make a check list of everything you are going to need for your evening of amusement. Have plenty of pencils for penning out requests, and make sure they are sharpened. Dont leave getting yourself coordinated till the last minute. If you do certainly you will end up forgetting something. Thats not too bad if youre only going five minutes from home, but if its more than 5 hours away it could be ill-fated.

Know incisively what the dress code is for the event you are playing at. If its a wedding you actually dont want to be showing up in blue jeans. Dress accordingly. Make It early and set up your equipment, as its much better to set up with less people around, especially where children are involved. All children get excited about karaoke, and if they are all amassed by the time you get there, you will likely be swarmed in a good natured way.

Once you are all set up, if you are not going to be commencing for awhile, check if you can rope off your area. Individuals are fascinated with the karaoke apparatus, and you dont want your equipment touched. If manageable mix with the people a little bit. This will be right for you as you wont feel so strange when you commence your show. It will also relax the crew up a little bit, and they wont feel so intimidated at getting up to participate. Also try to get a feel for the type of music genre thats going to be of the most interest.

Start Out at the time you are scheduled to start, otherwise your audience is going to get restless, and some of them may leave, especially if there are other activities going on. You will have your own style and your own approach, just continue with that. Make absolutely sure everyone knows how to register to sing. Have your paper and pencils out where they can be seen, and some system for them to return them to you. Its very critical to save them in order as people get nervous when they are waiting eternally to get up to sing, but their pal has already been up on stage two or three times.

Go all out because using your imagination is where the entertaining begins. Bring a camera around and treat party-goers like starlets for the night or give away magnificent prizes to the most talented singer and let the audience decide.

Whether you are planning to visit the Big Island, Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lahai or Maui your vacation in Hawaii will be filled with enjoyment. There are sites to see on each of the islands that make up the state of Hawaii.

Kauai offers you the opportunity to see “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific” with Waimea Canyon and its 3,000 ft. deep canyon on the west side of the island. The crested buttes, ragged crags, and the deep valley gorges are a sight you will cherish for years to come.

Visit the North Shore of Kauai and see the beautiful sights from the top of the towering cliffs with their greenery and flowing waterfalls tumbling to the valleys below. Stand on the cliffs and get a view of the Pacific Ocean and the endless waves rolling in to the shore.

Leaving Kauai and going to Oahu you can visit Waikiki Beach and enjoy the wonders of surfing. Here you can take lessons or experience the big waves for those that are experienced surfers. King Kamehaheha lived on the island at one time.

While you are at Waikiki Beach you may want to go to the Waikiki Aquarium and see the 3rd oldest aquarium in the U.S. Here there are over 500 marine species and more than 3,000 marine specimens for you to enjoy. They even have two endangered Hawaii Monk Seals for you to learn about while at the aquarium.

Everyone goes to Honolulu when they visit the islands. This capital city is filled with beautiful historic buildings, great art, wonderful monuments and of course, world class shopping.

Tour Iolani Palace and see the private living quarters of King Kalakaua and his successor, Queen Liliuokalani. You will see where they held lavish entertainments and did the diplomatic business of the kingdom. Hear bout the Queen being imprisoned in an upstairs bedroom after the overthrow of the monarchy.

Sea Life Park will offer you an alternative to Waikiki Beach. Here you will be able to see dolphins and penguins. You can also capture the views of the Pacific Ocean with its breathtaking beauty from the Koolau mountains.

You have probably read about it in the history books, or you remember it from when it actually happened but here in Central Oahu you can visit the USS Arizona and see the memorials that are a tribute to the brave men and women that were killed in the bombing of Pearl Harbor by the Japanese at the start of the US involvement in WWII. If you want to relax after that experience you may want to sample the fresh pineapple that is grown in the lush valley in the area.

Molokai is a different scene than the other islands you will visit on your Hawaii vacation. The tallest point is a church steeple because nothing on this island is taller than a coconut tree. How unique is that in this world of high-rises soaring overhead?

Lanai isn’t your typical hustle and bustle island; it’s a small town environment with relaxing opportunities of snorkeling, swimming or whale and dolphin watching. A nice break from the hurrying around you will do on the other islands.

Maui has not only beaches but mountain crests to see too. There is Haleakala where you can stand and almost see the “end of the earth.” Take a drive on the crooked road to Hana and visit the Seven Sacred Pools.

Famous for the active Kilauea volcano, this island will afford you the opportunity to experience everything from snow capped mountains to black sand beaches. It has the largest restored ancient Hawaiian religious temple as well as entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

What Kind Of Fruit Can I Grow Indoors?

Most experienced gardeners are aware of certain trees that have been designed to grow successfully indoors. In particular, indoor fruit trees have gained in popularity and prominence. These dwarf citrus varieties are appealing to any level of gardener and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment when the tree produces a bountiful crop of fruit.

Most container gardeners are aware of the Meyer lemon tree, given its hearty nature and prolific fruit yield. Given the success of the Meyer, more and more dwarf citrus varieties are now available, and perfect for indoor gardeners. Let’s take a closer look at five varieties now available from online sources.

Key Lime Tree - Key limes are the most popular lime trees in the United States, and can be quite successfully grown in containers. The limes are somewhat smaller than you’ll typically see in a grocery store, but sweeter.

Ponderosa Lemon - The Ponderosa lemon yields the biggest lemons we’ve ever seen! Just when you assume they’re ready to pick, they keep growing. Our Ponderosa lemon tree routinely produces 1 1/2 to 2 pound lemons, and the fruit holds onto our small tree very well.

Washington Navel Orange - If you didn’t think oranges could be grown indoors, guess again. This unique dwarf citrus produces fruit in the winter. The fruit itself is extremely enjoyable … seedless and sweet!

Calamondin Tree - What’s a calamondin? Calamondins, native to southeast Asia, have been deemed part of both the lime and orange family. These trees are fragrant and produce fruit year around. And yes, they actually taste like a cross between a lime and orange. Delicious!

Fingered Citron - Probably the most unique variety of indoor fruit tree we’ve seen, the fingered citron produces pods of fruit that look like a person’s hand. We were struck by the delightful fragrance of this tree, and also by its prolific nature. The citron is similar to lemon, but just a bit milder.

These are just a few types of indoor citrus trees that are available for container growing. Consider these trees for the beginning gardener, as they are quite easy care and their production of fruit instills gardening confidence and pride! Indoor citrus trees are generally shipped all year around, to even the coldest climates.

Sizing Up a Great Tent

Shelter is not a luxury; it’s a basic necessity of life. So it makes no sense to leave for an overnight camping trip without providing yourself with a dependable source of shelter.

Camping in the wilderness requires the use of a good tent. There is nothing worse than deciding to “rough it”, only to find you are exposed to rain and wind.

Tents needn’t be fancy, or expensive. They can be as simple as small, two-person pup tents, or as extravagant as full-size family models with three rooms and lighting. All that really matters is that the tent is durable and dependable enough to protect you from nature’s elements.

There are lots of things to look for in finding the perfect tent to fit your needs. Consider the shape of the tent, along with the weight, types of poles and setup time. If camping alone, be sure to choose a model that’s easy to assemble. If you’re not sure, ask an associate at a sporting goods store or outdoor outfitters.

Finally, be sure that the tent will fit in your car, while leaving room for all of your other gear.

Size it Up

Are you camping alone, or with your family? Are you packing along a lot of gear? Do you have pets that will need protection? These are all points that will come into play when choosing the size of your tent. You (and those sharing your space) will need room to sleep comfortably, stretch and move around. You’ll need to sit up or stand. While it is possible for a family of four to sleep in a four-person tent, you’ll all be more comfortable in a roomer six-person model. Two people will be comfortable in a small tent, but may need to store their belongings in a separate shelter.

A Weighty Issue

If you are hiking or portaging to your destination, you’ll have to give serious thought to the weight of your tent. Big canvas tents and ten-kilometer hikes just don’t mix. You’ll be carrying all of your gear and necessities, so you don’t want to be weighed down even more by a heavy tent. Choose a secure but lightweight model. On the other hand, if you’re driving to the campsite in a heavy-duty vehicle with lots of cargo room, then go crazy and bring a big tent.

Material Matters

Campers are no longer obliged to sleep under heavy, damp canvas. Today’s tents are made with lightweight but durable materials like taffeta and nylon. While light as a feather, these materials are tough as nails and able to withstand the forces of nature. When choosing your tent, be sure that it is certified waterproof. It may cost a little extra, but will pay for itself if Mother Nature sends a little rain and wind along for the ride.

Assembly Required

Ask to see the assembly instructions before you buy the tent. Then, try assembling the tent at home before you leave on your camping trip. The tent you choose should be easy to assemble with few or new tools required. You’ll have a lot to do when you reach camp, and you don’t want to spend a lot of time fighting with a difficult tent. Camping is about relaxing and becoming one with nature, not stressing and struggling with a tent.

Tents are not luxuries for the faint-hearted, or copouts for rookie campers. They are necessary tools that satisfy the basic human need for shelter. Even the most experienced outdoor enthusiasts will agree, there is no thrill in coming face to face with a forest critter at four a.m.

The Many Options Available in the World of Poker Chips

With so many choices available in poker chips these days, how is anyone supposed to make a decision about which ones to buy? Some of them are so fancy that are even collectable. How ever you plan to use you poker chips, there is probably a style and design that is just right.

You’ve probably heard of the clay poker chip. This is the one that causes the most excitement in the world of poker chips. Many enthusiasts will settle for nothing less because all clay poker chips are considered to be the best. You will find that this type of chip is the most expensive among your options. Many people like the sound and the soft feel that are unique to clay poker chips. These chips make really nice gifts for that special poker player in you life.

Most “clay” poker chips are actually made from a composite that contains clay. These clay composite poker chips are usually far less expensive than the full clay poker chips and they are available in a wide variety of affordable design choices. You will also find that these clay composite poker chips feel and sound much like the real clay versions, while providing many more options for customization.

The next category of chips is the composite resin or “plastic” chips. These poker chips are available in many different designs. With composite resin poker chips you can still get a good feeling and good quality chip, but without the feel of a clay chip. For many people this is not a concern. These poker chips are the most affordable and durable chips available.

What type of designs appeals to you? You can find designs that are full color and very fancy to designs that are nothing more than the impression of a series of diamond shapes around the edge of the chips, without any color. The choices available to you will be determined, somewhat, based on the type of poker chips you choose.

Using a heated die with a design, such as a dollar amount, to fuse a gold foil design into a poker chip is known as hot stamping. This option is inexpensive and is widely available. You can even have custom dies made to imprint your own custom logo or artwork onto your poker chips. This could be a great way to promote your business. The only real design limitation to hot stamping is that it only provides a single color design.

For those who want a full color design to customize your poker chips there is another option. With the technology available today you can have custom created, full color, vinyl labels permanently fused to your poker chips. While this option is more expensive than hot stamping, it opens a host of additional options for creating your own custom poker chips.

As you can see, the options available in selecting poker chips are nearly limitless. This can make it very challenging to decide what to purchase. By making a couple of initial choices, such as whether you want clay poker chips, clay composite chips or composite resin poker chips and whether you want chips that can be customized, you will narrow your choices considerably, making it easier to decide. Whatever choice you make, you are sure to enjoy your selection for years to come.

Great Courses In Las Vegas

Las Vegas is often referred to as sin city or the city of lights. It is known for its glamorous shows, all you can eat buffets, and the many casinos that fill the strip. However, the golf scene in Vegas is picking up and it starting to be a well known attraction and reason for golfers to vacation there.

There are three major tours that take place in Las Vegas every year. The Wendy’s 3-Tour challenge is one of the tours that occur annually. Also, this October during the fall series, Justin Timberlake’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open is scheduled to take place. Finally, the Las Vegas Invitation which is held at the Tournament Players Club Summerlin is also a notable golf tournament that is held in Las Vegas.

Golf is becoming a major hit in Las Vegas. The courses are designed by notable golfers such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Tom Fazio and they provide high quality golf courses. There are approximately eighty golf courses that are public, semi-private or private for you to choose from. These courses are no longer able to be kept from the golfing community because they offer some of the best courses around.

Bali Hai Golf Club is located at the southern end of the Las Vegas strip and delivers an island feel with towering trees and sparkling green fairways accented by white crushed granite. Only in Vegas will your approach shot require blocking out the images of the shimmering Mandalay Bay and famous MGM Grand off in the distance. The Legacy Golf Club is certainly one of a kind. The Arthur Hills-designed facility features tee boxes on the 10th hole that are in the shape of every suit in a deck of cards: spades, clubs, diamonds and hearts.

If you are looking to play where the pros play then the Reflection Bay Golf Course would be your best bet. It was designed by Jack Nicklaus himself and is the host to Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge which can bees seen on television. Bear’s Best is another course designed by Jack Nicklaus and is a collaboration of many golf courses from Montana to Mexico. At Bearas Best you can find a club house and memorabilia of Jack Nicklaus.

Las Vegas is home to some of the best landscaped golf courses that you only imagine or see on television. They have a combination of cliffs, desert canyons, palm tress, and the great southwest sun to make everything glisten. You will really feel like you are in a dreamland paradise when you step on to a Las Vegas golf course.

The one downside of golfing in Las Vegas is that greens fees can be a bit steep, typically costing over one-hundred dollars per person for almost any course. For more reasonable prices, golf packages or inclusive golf resorts are your best bet. When planning to golf here, the winter season is an option worth exploring when it comes to price and weather. From November to February there are fewer visitors, extreme summer temperatures aren’t an issue and rates tend to be a bit cheaper at the courses and hotels. Without golf, Las Vegas is still one of the premiere international travel destinations in the world.

So now that you have the basics to enjoying a desert oasis both on the strip and the golf courses, don’t hesitate to look into packages and make your dream a reality. The golf courses of Sin City will not let you down. Have patience and research the courses you are interested in to find the best one for you.

Are you considering Callaway x20 irons

callaway x 20 necessitated a hard nosed approach to maintaining optimal quality during manufacture thereby preserving their reputation. Design and manufacturing excellence are both cornerstones to prop up the tremendous hard earned reputation for these products. What you get is a very exacting and high performance piece of kit.

From humble beginnings has come a great golf innovator in Callaway golf. Callaway golf produce a range of high quality products for golfers of all abilities. Yet again this year Callaway have outdone themselves with continual product improvement.

Immensley popular is the only way to describe the response to the release of the callaway x 20. Every man and his dog seem to want to get hold of this technology. High quality and forgiveness from all of the bad habits i throw at them are testament enough for me.

Playabilty of the 3 & 4 irons due to higher MOI and lowered wighting design really reinforces the reputation they have earned. callaway x 20 strategically engineer the 5 -7 irons via perimeter weight manuipulation and distribution to optimise the performance of your mid irons. The cavity back inspired 8 - pw really accentuate the design philosphy to produce a very forgiving transitional iron set.

callaway x 20 have lived up to the hype of being a true players set and I have am kicking myself for procastinating so long before I dived in. A different trajectory is apparent for me with the shorter irons but a recent change of golf ball could also be a contributing factor. I am not getting any younger and my game is shortening but these clubs have levelled the field a little for me again.

The intended audience for the irons is pretty much anyone who needs to increase their consistency on a week in week out basis. Adams pretty much invented the hybrid golf club and their success is no surprise to find them as a cetrepiece of these irons. callaway x 20 incorporates hybrids muscle backs cavity backs and a few more features I couldnt give a gnats freckle about but I do now have something that enables me to caress the golf ball with sufficient dexterity to be able to loosely call myself a golfer.

As with any piece of sporting equipment you will need to make an honest appraisal of your own ability. This is not rocket science it is just plain sense to match your equipment with your skills. Careful design innovation and extensive match experience have resulted in a very wide player audience for the callaway x 20.

The old school bricks and mortar sellers will find it difficult to match the web but I have found some great bargains from them in the past. Its a huge maze out there for buying golf equipment and I can only suggest you go with who you already know or with someone with a good reputation preferrably through recommendation. If you dont have your source sorted out you could try mygolfbid.com golfsaleadams.com or mygolfbid.com.au (for australians) who I have used previously. callaway x 20

How to Play Craps in Your Home With a Casino Feel

by Matthew Sagehouse

Craps is a very exciting and high energy game that is very popular in the casinos. Would you like to have the excitement of this game in your home? Well, you’re in luck, because there are a wide variety of craps supplies available for your home.

The craps tables that you find in casinos are very nice, and appear very expensive. If you wish to create the atmosphere of the casino in your home then you have several craps table options that include all of the great features found on the tables in the casinos. Another great feature that the home craps tables have is that they are easy to assemble and disassemble without tools.

Another option you have, if you don’t want a full size craps table, is a craps felt layout. These are available in a regular grade and a high grade felt. Both measure 6′ x 3′ and have a craps table layout printed on them. With either of these layouts you can place them over an existing table or even mount them to a piece of plywood.

A precision set of serialized dice is recommended for the optimum craps experience. These dice are produced to exacting standards and are perfectly balanced, with flush dots and uniform sharp edges. You can be sure that these dice are free from defects. If you are not so worried about the quality of your craps dice then you can purchase some regular play dice.

You are going to need some other items for your craps game. You will need buttons for betting and marking. You will also need a dice stick, which is used by the stickman to retrieve dice during the game. A dice boat to hold your dice would also be a nice addition to your game. All of these accessories will help to make your craps game more exciting.

There are some other basic supplies you need for your craps game. One of them is the On/Off button. This button is used by individual players in an ongoing craps game to indicate whether their bets are on or called off. You also will need a larger On/Off puck to be used by the dealer to mark the point and to indicate when the point is off, during the first round of a craps game.

If a player wishes to place a bet that a particular point, other than the current point, will be rolled before a 7 is rolled, then the buy bet is placed. This bet is marked by using the Buy side of the Buy/Lay button. To mark a bet with opposite intentions, that is; the 7 will be rolled before a particular point, the Lay side will be used to mark the respective point. This is called a lay bet. The Buy/Lay button is a very important part of the game of craps.
